I'm working on a project that needs a nice clean solo violin.
GarageBand doesn't have one.
Is there a way to get sounds from my CD collection of sounds (that I use on my Kurzweil) into GB?
Is there a way for third party sounds to be added into GB?
Does anyone have a nice clean solo violin for GB?

You could try to copy the fies from the Instrument library of your laptop to the corresponding folders on your Tower:

Do you remember, how you installed the JamPack on your Laptop? Did you use the Jam Pack installers or did you perhaps install MainStage 2 or 3?
Even the Jam Pack Symphony Orchestra has only violin sections.
The only solo violins are in the JamPack World music, but they are all having an ethnic touch. There is an Irish Fiddle or Chinese Erhu Violin.
I guess I'll have to use the Irish Fiddle, then.
I have the Irish Fiddle on my GB running on my laptop with OS 10.12.4
I have the Bluegrass Banjo on my Tower running OS 10.6.8
Is there anyway to have both of these instruments on the same computer running GB?
