error during install itunes app pc

User uploaded file

this is the error message I receive when I try to install iTunes. its a 64bit system, windows 10 pro. I've tried the 64bit setup and the 32 and nothing. I tried a older version which did install but couldn't open as the files were a newer version so just closes. I removed those files and iTunes from program files and from my music folder and still doesn't work. I'm having to reinstall as a windows update crashed my pc so had to do a windows reinstall. any help would be much appreciated.

null-OTHER, Windows 10, itunes app

Hello scott_fromscotland,

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to install iTunes on your Windows computer, even after trying some good steps. Looking at this Microsoft resource, to help resolve this issue please contact Microsoft for a hotfix to help with your situation with installing iTunes.

I finally got it installed, but not the way suggested. I gave up trying to install from the download for iTunes from the site and found out its actually on the Microsoft store. which installed no problem. on another note I received a email for a account verification which has a pdf attached to it but looks very suspicious.

(customer-service-email3036@asyiquesuling-8.net) is where it came from all it says in it is.

Dear Client,

I believe it to be fake and a scam.
