Windows 10 Boot Camp Error code 0xc0000001

I have had a successful windows partition on my Mid 2012 MacBook Pro for the last 3years. My machine last power while updating Windows (unsure which version) and I now receive the following message when trying to boot into windows: I really don't want to have to reinstall windows as I have no idea where my serial number is (it is a legitimate version though).

Note: my Mac os is working perfectly fine and I have tried to start up windows with debugging which hasn't made a difference.

2.9 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

Thanks in advance!
