Import CD Songs with Pop and Clicking Noises

Hi,

I just have a new computer and and new burner attached to it or was it an drive, and I was importing my cds into itunes. When I was listening to my music, some of my cd songs have occasional pop or clicking sounds. I try error correction, didn't quite work. I even try to fix the sound. Still the same. When I keep doing that, my burner drive keeps making these weird sounds. Is my burner drive the problem or is it my cds? My Imac is MacOS 10.13.4
