Cannot delete iPhone X tones not showing in iTunes

I installed the new iPhone X from a back up of my old iPhone 7. In sounds&haptics, there appeared all my tones from the old phone (tones that were downloaded from an app in App Store which offered free ringtones). I wanted to delete most of them, but, when connecting the iPhone X to iTunes (latest version 12.7) and tapping on tones, I cannot see but a few of them. nevertheless, even if deleted a couple from those few I could see, they were not deleted from my iPhone. I sync the iPhone and now, even if they are still in sounds & haptics they are not visible in itunes > on my device > tones. I downloaded in Mac an app (AnyTrans) and even there I cannot see all the tones I have in sounds & haptic on my phone.

Is there any other way of deleting those tones from my phone, of making them visible? I even tried redownloading the same tones and installing them in the phone, but they appear as double and I still remain with the old ones in sounds after deleting the newly downloaded ones.

If there are no workable solutions I think i should reset my phone as new, isn’t it?
