Since putting a new travel sim card in my iphone 8 i canmot send emails

Error message ‘connection to outgoing server failed’ shows each time I try to send an email.

If I check later in the day, it will say it was updated hours earlier, and will not update. I check everything again. Sometimes it will work, then the next time it won't. Unable to receive e-mail since update to iOS 15.2.1 I am unable to receive email since my update to iOS 15.2.1 on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. It works fine on my iPad. I'd say that's more to do with the fact your Wifi connection is really weak rather than the sim card.

Turn of Wifi, and see if you can send the email. Or try getting a better wifi connection and try again.

Also make sure the sim card you are using, has in fact an activated data package and you can access the internet directly with it.
