In recent weeks, the ringtone on my iPhone 6s does not sound when receiving calls, although the phone vibrates.
Have you checked that your ringer/mute switch (above volume switches on left side of your iPhone) is NOT enabled?
Did you adjust the ringer sound volume?
(settings>Sounds>Ringer... and also "Change with buttons" (that should be ON (green).
Can you hear other different sounds from notifications?
Regards
Giulio
Hi Giulio
I managed to sort it out after a helpful chat with apple support. There was no obvious reason for the problem - all the settings were correct and the ringer/mute switch was properly set, but it was suggested that I change the ring tone, which seemed to resolve the issue. I will in future also check thast the mute switch is enabled - I was not aware that it can be disabled.

Glad you get the solution. Have a nice day
