Facebook won't recognize my password on MacOS

I keep getting a pop-up message telling me that Facebook doesn't recognize my password when I try to share photos from Photos on my laptop to Facebook. Even though I am able to open Facebook on my laptop without needing a password. Help! I can't upload any photos from my Nikon that I have edited in Photos!
