I want to confirm that it's ok if I have two 4gb sticks (original RAM) in my Retina 5K, 27in, Late 2015 model iMac now, that it's ok to use the macsales (OWC) RAM to upgrade for a total of 24gb RAM? I would buy two more sticks at 8gb each? Is it fine to have the two 4 gb and two 8gb? They do NOT have to be equal amounts (4x4x4x4)? Thank you in advance.

Yes-you should be fine. Macs, all Macs tend to be picky about RAM, no doubt about that. Not just any RAM will work, especially not the cheapest. So, as long as you buy RAM that meets the original specs from a reputable vendor that'll take it back should anything be amiss, you'll be fine. I don't know for sure if the ram needs to be installed in pairs, but I'd be leaning that way, other than than, it's as much as you want to spend, and as much as you think you need to get
