I have had the issue of not being able to remove recent contacts when i try to create a new iMessage/text. There used to be an i that I could select to remove the name/group but it has gone missing. Is there a new solution/workaround for this?

So how are we supposed to clear the imessage recent contacts? If you delete you contacts list from the iphone, will it clear the imessage recents ad then reload the address book from icloud? Seems like a new way of clearing out message contacts should be available.
