Updated to 10.13.5, lost Bluetooth
I updated to 10.13.5, lost Bluetooth. I "reset" the module, trashed the BT preferences, nothing worked. Help?

My Mac is now going into Apple to be reviewed by a tech on Tuesday :/
It's a waste of time! I removed my entire volume and install a fresh OS from the USB I made out of Mac Store. Exact same thing! Grey off button and nothing can be connected.

I Shutdown my mac after work, not restart, not sleep. I get back home and I turn it on after maybe 2 hours and it works 🙂 My Bluetooth is alive!
Does this problem (in its persistent variant) only affect Macs with retina displays?
Thanks, I turned off and left unplugged all night but it still does not work. I try to reinstall 10.13.4. Another day of lost work.. 😟
Yes mine is also a 2015 edition (late 2015, 21.5", 4K)
So, then I updated my Mac and lost blutooth and now I (We) all must pay because of ther mistake!

Same problem ... deleting .plist didn't help. Just fixed it on my MBP with a full NVRAM reset - it got all my Bluetooth devices back.
Nothing will work. It is a bug with the software update. Call Apple. It took us two days, but finally the issue went up to the Apple engineers who are working on a fix.
I did not know this was possible but apparently the software update did cause a hardware malfunction. Mine is getting send to Apple for a repair.
