Updated to 10.13.5, lost Bluetooth
I updated to 10.13.5, lost Bluetooth. I "reset" the module, trashed the BT preferences, nothing worked. Help?
MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS High Sierra (10.13.5), iPad Pro 9.7, Watch 42mm, iPhone X

I have unplugged all cables from my laptop (external video, power cable etc.) and shutdown it for 10 minutes. After starting it up again, bluetooth was available again.
Note that rebooting or shutting down for 1-2 minutes didn't help me.
Good luck!
It's a waste of time! I removed my entire volume and install a fresh OS from the USB I made out of Mac Store. Exact same thing! Grey off button and nothing can be connected.
Does this problem (in its persistent variant) only affect Macs with retina displays?
Thanks, I turned off and left unplugged all night but it still does not work. I try to reinstall 10.13.4. Another day of lost work.. 😟
Yes mine is also a 2015 edition (late 2015, 21.5", 4K)
So, then I updated my Mac and lost blutooth and now I (We) all must pay because of ther mistake!
Shame on you Apple!!!!!!!!
old thread.
sorry why old thread? Has a solution been found? I still don't..
This actually WORKED for me.... thanks for the suggestion
and are they paying for the repair or are you?
Don’t do that. It’s a software i
Apple is paying for it.
This solved it for me as well.
So what to do?
Bluetooth still isn't working.
I've updated to 10.13.6 - still no BT
I have the same problem, and they wont to charge a fee. MBP is not in warranty, and therefore charge.
