iOS 11.4 Battery Drain!

Why and how do I fix the new issue with battery drain after updating to iOS 11.4? Before updating, might loose as much as 10% overnight on my 6s. After update it now drains completely from 100% over the course of the night to the point that it won’t start until I plug it in and let it charge a bit. iPad air2 drains much more as well, but not to the same extreme.

After two days it wonˋt even turn on, because the battery has been drained completely. I read that this was a common issue of an iOS upgrade. iPad 12.9 3rd gen - sudden battery drain I’ve had my iPad Pro for almost 4 years and the battery was always awesome! However 4 days ago, I started to realize that the battery would drain really fast, even overnight with the lid (original Apple) closed. I did this: turn off all location services turn off all app background refresh close all apps before I sleep But no change; next morning: battery completely depleted, and while using it, the battery drains faster than it used to. I updated to the latest iPad OS (15.2.1) but that didn’t help. I’ve not changed the charger, the cables are the same etc… I’m running out of options - does anyone have the same and maybe knows what this could be? Thank you :)

Battery of iPad draining fast I have a 5th generation iPad and after the latest iOS update the battery started draining fast. I allready force restarted the iPad, but it is really tiring. I am thinking about buying a new one, also because I use it hours a day so the chance is that the device is just worn out.

Thanks for posting this...so far my phone has stayed up long enough for me to reboot the phone (leave it off for at least one minute).

Powered it back on and went straight to ESPN and was able to browse normally...dangit, Astros are already down 5-3, where as before it would immediately shut down. Opened up a few more tabs and still no shut down.

Battery went from 100% to 96% in a span of 8mins...

Apple store employee told me if the Apple device you have is near the bottom of the list of Apple products eligible for an iOS update...don't update. iOS updates are for the newer products. That's why 6s, 6 and SE phones are suffering the battery problem and the newest phones aren't having the problem or very, very few. Apple wants more money and through updates actually makes older models obsolescent forcing customers to spend more on the newer phones.

Thanks, that did not work for me iphone6S. Only thing that works is changing Wifi to 2gz

How in the world do you the downgrade when Apple is no longer signing the previous release??
