is there an article anywhere that suggests what is a metal-capable GPU?
I had something earlier today, I looked in my history and I can't find it. I'll post again if I do find it.
Does this mean that there will never be any more updates of any kind for my mid 2011 iMac, and it will not be supported anymore?
Hello jerryoster,
High Sierra and Sierra will still receive security updates for at least a couple more years.
That's good! Eventually I'll have to cave in for new iMac, but mine is doing well at present!
iMacs have never had upgradeable hard drives. In fact iMac hard drives have been paricularly slow and prone to failure.
does anyone have a list of what processor is needed it just doesn't seem right that my 2014 mac mini which has a slower processor than my 2011 17inch pro can run mojave and yet the 17 inch can not
Wrong models early 2011 MacBook Pro 17inch early 2011 MacBook Pro 13 inch
BTW, a 2560 X 1440, 32-inch, external display is connected to my MacBook Pro using the mDP cable. If I add an eGPU to my MBP, will it work with my external display?
Thanks.
out of curiosity how many windows boxes from 2011 are still actively deployed throughout your company?
Which is the part that annoys me the most because the machine that can run it is the slowest and most under powered one of them all
Plus it’s not that it won’t run it as long as they don’t drop support for an RDC connection I will still be able to run Mojave on my pro
I upgraded my MacBook Pro to 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7 CPU, 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 RAM, and SSD when I purchased it. Does that let my MBP able to run the macOS Mojave?
Thanks.
