Song playback cut off early (again)

I've been plagued by the issue described here: Re: Song playback cut off early

Some MP3s I've added to iTunes (v 12.7.5.9) end abruptly, usually around the 4:10 mark.

I found the solution here: Re: Song playback cut off early

It requires removing and re-adding the songs, and then playing each one of them briefly. The original poster provided a small AppleScript to automate part of the process. I've written a better one, and posted it here: https://github.com/megabulk/Fix-for-iTunes-file-truncation
