Image size for Apple Music Playlist

Does anyone know the actual size that the image needs to be for a Playlisy on Apple Music? I make my own cover images and I thought it would be perfectly square (like regular album art) but it doesn’t seem to fit correctly. I know it’s not a huge problem, but I wp me a lot of time making playlists and I’d like to add my own image to make it uniquely mine. It’s just really annoying. I can’t find a size that fits perfectly.

My added cover art is visible for each song within the playlist, but some of the images have rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise. Is there an easy solution to fix this problem? iTunes Artist Icons: Any Way For Apple To Allow Users To Change Artist Photos? I'm a long-time iTunes user, and I use it to organize an extensive music library and stream music to my stereo via Apple TV. But is there any way to get Apple to be responsive to customer dismay about not being able to personalize the Artist icons? We used to have this feature, but for years the program pulls the icon from a page submitted by the artist to the Apple store. Most of these are missing, or wrong, including artists you'd think must have an approved picture in the Apple store; and when a picture does show up, it's often useless (i.e. a distant black & white band photo that doesn't help when scrolling through artists). As a result, the display (both on my PC and my Apple TV) is awful, a wall of generic microphones (see below). Isn't there some way for the company to fix the user experience here?

What are the size requirements for submitting original album covers for iTunes? I am an artist and illustrator creating an original artwork for a singer who wants to sell her music on iTunes. I will scan the finished illustration and add titles in PhotoShop. I need to know the current best dimensions, pixels, and file format. I googled this online but some of the advice was very old. Thanks!
