Apple TV 4K Green screen then crash

Hi there - I have an Apple TV 4K and it has been working a treat for ages. All of a sudden, I randomly get green lines across the screen or the screen goes totally green and then the Apple TV resets itself. It happened every 20 mins last night. Does anybody know if this is an Apple TV problem or an HDMI problem?

Apple TV flashing green This happened many times, when we are usually watching a movie for example, it would flash green for a millisecond before abruptly shutting off and restarting. Now I set it up for an update and it happened it the middle of it. not its not even shutting off or restarting its stuck at the updating screen. I have tried switching it to another display and even switched HDMI cables. Nothing is working. I've also tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. The problem still persists. Thanks

screen goes black My Apple TV started randomly going to black and then back to regular viewing. It's about a 1-3 second blackness. And it doesn't seem to happen with any regularity. Now I restarted the Apple TV and the problem has gone away. And if it comes back I'll change the HDMI cable but if it persists is this an indication that the device is dying? The Apple TV is, approximately, 8-10 years old. Thanks
