Problems with Airports on TWC Spectrum?

If you plug the modem directly to a computer.. you need to power cycle the modem... should be off for 5min at least usually.. does your internet work on that computer?

Reset the airport to factory and reconfigure it. You must set the IPv6 to link-local only in the Airport while you do this setup.. Then swap the modem connection back to the Airport. Power cycle the modem again to get this working..

No luck give us some screenshots via the airport utility of the setup of your Airport.

You might find it better to use a modem router from Spectrum if they are making it difficult for Apple router to work on a pure modem.. we have certainly had issues at times with Airport routers and some single ethernet port modems. Arris / Surfboard being the main culprits.

Go to your AirPort Utility app - click edit - click Advanced - click - IPv6 - click Link-local only. Click on Done then chose Update

though the steps were not exactly the same...getting to IPv6 - "link-local only" did the trick. Thanks so much!

Yea, I had the same issue. Internet was not working all day. Green light on Airport and internet form TWC is working fine when I plug ethernet into computer. TWC/Spectrum said it is a know Apple issue right now...

i was on hold for an hour with apple and gave up... I contacted TWC and could get Wifi from them for $5 a month, but they would have to send me a different modem/router. Drat.

Hi- I spent an hour on the phone with apple support yesterday and also tried this. It worked briefly but now no longer have internet. any thoughts? thank you.
