os x base system

Hello,

I have a late 2011 macbook pro running high sierra with a 1tb ssd drive that i installed about six months ago.

I went to log into my laptop and after i entered my password it froze and I got the beachball spinning. I shut it down

by pressing the start button till it shut down. I went to turn it back on and I got the file with the question mark.

I went into internet recovery and in the disk utility it shows the mac os x base system but it does not show

my ssd drive at all. I have looked through the forums and the fixes listed do not relate to my issue. I cannot

erase the base system since that is greyed out. I do not know why it is not showing my ssd in the keft hand

pane. Is there a way to solve this ? Once i can get arounf this i will reinstall high sierra and restore from backup.

Thanks in advance

OtherWorldComputing/MacSales is very Mac-centic company that prides itself on their great customer support -- both Sales support and Technical support.

They don't carry anything that is troublesome, because it would give them support nightmares. They have developed or sponsored many exclusive products for the Mac, and are trying to continue to do so.
