When I search on google my last 3 searches are displayed..l have set my google history to paused as advised. It makes no difference whether I’m signed in or not. Is there a way to stop this happening? I am using an iPad Air,but this does not happen on my iPhone 6 Plus. Thank you for any help

Try going to Safari/Preferences/Search/Smart Search Field and uncheck Include Safari Suggestions.
Thank you for reply I can do that but I thought I could turn off history using safari and I now realise that is not a an option. I just do not like my last 3 searches always on show when making a new search.
Hi thanks for your reply but alas it’s still bringing up my last three searches. Spoke to Apple first boy couldn’t help 2nd person could not help either. They could see what I was doing but were totally baffled as not happening on my iPhone.
