Mac runs agonizingly slow - w/EtreCheck report

My mac recently started working so slow it's impossible to do pretty much anything. Here's the report I managed to run - any idea what might be wrong?

Given the excessive amount of time it took to run the Etrecheck report, I'd suspect a failing hard drive or other hardware issue. Backup your disk now, either Time Machine or a clone and keep daily or hourly backups.

Boot into Recovery Mode and run Disk Utility > First Aid. If it reports errors run it until it either reports no errors or reports the disk could not be fixed.
