itunes wifi syncing with Windows 10
Over the past 2 or 3 updates of itunes (now I'm at 12.7), I have not been able to do a wifi sync to an iphone 5s. Final troubleshooting was a total uninstall of all itunes software and components (Bonjour, Apple Mobile Device Support, 32 bit and 64 bit apple application support, and apple software update). After the compete uninstall, I reinstalled all 64 bit windows itunes and, low and behold, the wifi syncing worked flawlessly. Shut down my PC, came back the next day, and ran itunes. And, once again, syncing on wifi does not work and the itunes software does not see the iphone. This problem appears to have multiple versions of failure over the years and I wondered what the current state of affairs is. Does anyone using current versions of Windows 10 on a home PC as well as current versions of itunes (and its components) have a fix for this problem? Or has everyone with this situation simply gone to a USB hardwired means to address the problem?
