Dropbox not working in iOS 11.4 Files App

In the new Apple "Files" app the user has the option to allow Dropbox files to be viewed. On my iPad (running iOS 11.4) it works fine but it will not allow me to display any files on my iPhone (also running iOS 11.4). Every Dropbox file is available via "Files" on the iPad but when I try to turn it on on the iPhone nothing happens??? Dropbox app is latest from App Store (102.2)

If one of these steps doesn't work go to the next step.

1. forced restart

1c. Delete and reinstall the Dropbox app if you have not already.

2. go to settings>general>reset>reset all settings

3. Make sure no restrictions are set on the phone

4a. Make a full backup using your iTunes computer and restore to factory settings and restore from backup

4b. restore to factory settings and set up as new

5. make an appointment with the nearest Apple store genius bar for an evaluation.
