Sending MMS .. Only over cellular data or can WiFi be used as well?

Every time I try to send a picture or gif or bitmoji when my data and WiFi are both on.. it says delivery failed. Only works after shutting WiFi off and only using data.. but it’s really annoying shutting my WiFi off EVERY time I need to send MMS as I do so very often.. Any suggestions or am I just gonna have to deal with it?

can’t send mms Ever since update 13.1.3 I am unable to send or receive pics from and to android users. Everything worked great before then and this is how I am updated with my grandson. I have tried everything I have read online including resetting the network settings 3 times.i know of 2 other people having the problem as well. And all 3 of us has a different carrier. MMS over new T-Mobile home internet I have a iPhone XR and my wife a 12 pro max. Both on Verizon. Never had any issues. We’re both very tech savvy. 2 weeks ago we changed home internet providers from a local company to a new home internet offering from T-Mobile. This is strictly 5g home internet. Our cell service is still through Verizon. T-Mobile sent us a new 5g modem/WiFi router. Everything is set up and we get internet with no issues. whenever we’re on WiFi at home (going through our new T-Mobile home internet) all MMS fail to send UNLESS it’s iMessage. iMessage still works fine. But iPhone to non iPhone MMS (green messages), but only MMS, so pictures, or group messages with non iPhone in the group….They fail 100% of the time. we have to turn off WiFi in order to have these MMS go through. anyone have any ideas as to what’s going on?

Updated to iOS16.0.3 cannot receive or send mms to non- iPhone users ever since I updated to iOS 16.0.3 I cannot receive or send MMS messages. I have been over every change and box check there is with Verizon, including erasing all content and settings excluding my esim. When is the next update ? Or can anyone help me ?
