Activation Lock

So, I bought an iPhone 7 off of eBay but the owner forgot to remove their iCloud.

They don't know their login. I have tried EVERY unlock video and all the websites that claim if you pay £19.99 they'll unlock you etc.. But I can't find anything working or reliable.

What am I to do? I have all the IMEI numbers and that also the owner left his SIM card and I have his phone number but that is useless I think as I have the SIM card to the phone number so I can't ring him.. HELP.

Can apple not take the IMEI number and contact the guy via his itunes account? Like *** is this "support".

(I have contacted 2 chat-based supporters and 1 phone person - no luck)

Sorry, but Apple won't be able to help you. Only the original owner can. If they can't per your post, or refuse to, return it and get a refund.

Apple won’t get involved with any issue in a private sale of used devices. Your issue is between you and the seller. The only way to remove activation lock is to know the AppleID password used to set it up. There is no hack, no bypass, no secret removal.

Contact eBay for a refund if the seller cannot or will not help you.
