Is the photos built in print services finishing on September 30 2018

Hi everyone

On going to Photos projects today, got this message - see image. Does this mean that you won't be able to order calendars and books directly through Apple in future. Did I miss something?

Thanks

Kevin

Thank you. It is no longer necessary for me, because the most recent upgrade to version 2.0.1 of Mimeo fixed the crashes. Mimeo is now behaving as expected for me and working as described here:

And this upgrade makes it also possible to start with a nearly empty book and to add more photos later. that is a nice improvement. Having to start with all photos at once and having them out-placed has been horrible.

VentureBeat has an article out today saying that RR Donnelley is the company printing Apple photos since 2005.

Mimeo is not named in this article, but someone above says their were 2 providers? I don't know why they would leave out one from the article.

Here's our recent press release with even more details about our partnership with Apple.

If you’ve ordered photobooks, cards, or calendars from Apple, there is a good chance that it was made by Mimeo.

Hi Old Toad,

Apple has partnered with Mimeo for years to provide its customers with photo projects. You can read all of the details in our recent press release.

Mimeo Photos offers the same Apple themes, book sizes, materials, and print quality. Users have access to additional features for designing and creating photobooks, cards, and calendars.

That's good to know. Do you offer the full, glossy dust jacket with books? If so do you prefer the production PDF file that Apple creates for uploading that has the full 32+" page for the dust jacket? That's available thru iPhoto 9.6.1 by holding down the Option key and clicking on the Buy button.

Do you ship to Canada?

Yes, we do. Mimeo Photos offers international shipping, including Canada.

If you happen to be bilingual and in New Brunswick, Ontario, or Quebec Mimeo Photos supports language localization. This means that all text within the app automatically translates to support 12 languages including French.

Yes, we do provide dust jackets for our hardcover photobooks.

Currently, we don't offer the ability to generate or import PDFs. However, this is a popular request and is a feature we are actively exploring for a future update.

Being able to generate a PDF would be a big plus in my world as I like to create a video DVD slideshow from the PDF file for each book I give as a gift.

I am having a similar problem since the recent update to Mimeo version 2.0.3.

When I try to create a new project I am just seeing the beach ball spinning after I select the book format.

Thanks for reaching out. Our recommendation is to reinstall the latest version of Mimeo Photos.
