I was on ios 11.3 and updated to iOS IOS 11.4.1 which shocked me with severe battery drain. I’d say iOS 11.3 served better battery consumption. Please, Apple, do something to iOS IOS 11.4.1 to prevent battery drain. My device is iPad mini 2 with retina display.

Same problem with iOS 11.4.1. Battery drains without any use on my iPad Air.
I had battery drains on my 6s then disabled listen for hey siri and disabled location for eveything except maps , camera and find my phone. Worked for me . Give it a try maybe it can solve it.
Any word on whether this problem will be fixed in 12.0? I have the constant spinning wheel and battery drain problem on my iPhone 8 running 11.4.1
i updated to ios 12 today and the battery drain issue is still there, i can't really use my iphone without connected to power bank 😟
Mine does too and I have an iPhone 8 Plus... is there a solution yet? I’m updated to the latest version of iOS as of today. It’s still a problem
Try turning off all the apps that are under Siri suggestions.
Hey try closing all apps that Siri suggestions has under it in setting
