'Install or remove windows 7 or later version' option greyed out

I have a macOS 10.13.6, and I'm trying to use bootcamp to install Windows 10, and the install or remove windows 7 or later version option is greyed out. Bootcamp Assistant version is 6.1.0.

I made some mistakes the first time trying to install windows 10, and accidentally erased my MacBook Air, and restored it 3 months ago. It was around 2015 when I first got my laptop.

Can anyone help me on this?

What is the name of the Windows ISO file? Also, you seem to have four instances of W10, which is not correct.

I suggest you install W10 1607 instead of W10 1803. Your Mac is a 2014 model, and newer releases have many issues with the older Macs.

Is it in another folder? I saw two, but they weren't called setupapi.dev.log:

I searched the file in the Windows folder, but it didn't show.

From the macOS side

$ cd /Volumes/BOOTCAMP/

$ find . -name setupapi.dev.log -print

./Windows/INF/setupapi.dev.log

Since we are manually creating the FAT partition, can you post the output of

sudo fdisk /dev/disk0

We should check the MBR.

This is a known issue in High Sierra. Do you have a Time Machine backup of macOS?
