Stock Sound Effects in iMovie into Garage Band?
Imovie has some nice Sound Effects. Is it possible to take those Sound Effects and transfer them into Garage Band? Thanks!

I'm not very familiar with Garageband.
However, you can control-click on the iMovie 10 icon in the applications folder and select Show Package Contents/Resources. In there you will see folders for the iMovie Sound effects and the iLife Sound Effects.
I copied (not moved) those folders to my desktop by Option-dragging them (holding down the Option key while dragging). The iLife Sounds Effects played from the desktop, but the iMovie ones didn't. So it may be that the iMovie Sound Effects don't play outside of iMovie projects. However, I could Option-drag the individual iLife sound effects into a Garageband project. That's about all I can say about it. Possibly someone else will chime in if they have additional info to contribute.
