Purchased TV shows are not appearing in Library anymore

Could anyone please tell me how to make my purchased TV shows to appear in my library in iTunes?

They used to appear in my library, but they are not appearing in Library anymore.

These are my purchased TV shows:

This appears to be a current issue affecting desktop versions of iTunes, although as yet I don't know how widespread it is. For myself I have no cloud content showing in different versions of iTunes on both Mac and Windows, so I'm pretty sure it is a store issue. iOS devices still show cloud purchases. Signing out of the store and back in doesn't help. Same issue shows in a brand new library. Waiting on a call back from a senior adviser in the morning.

Thank you! This happened to my library as soon as I completed the latest update install. I was wondering if it was just me, or an issue with the update. Sounds like the latter. While that doesn't solve the problem, it leads me to believe that they are probably working on it! I hope the senior advisor has an answer for you when they contact you in the morning.

Hi,

It looks like something in 12.8 has confused the iTunes in the Cloud library, which then shows incorrectly regardless of which desktop version of iTunes you subsequently use to connect to iTunes. Apple TV & iOS devices continue to show unhidden cloud purchases. Apple are aware of the issue so will be working to correct it as soon as possible. I'll let you know if I hear more, but you might want to contact Apple so that they know your account is affected.

Hi tt2,

Thanks you so much for your reply. This issue appeared on Friday evening. I had not yet updated iTunes to 12.8 version.

Even after updating to 12.8, the issue persisted, and hence this post.

I called apple yesterday evening and told them about this issue. They were unaware that this issue exists.

Is there some record or ticket number that is associated with this issue, so that I can call apple and tell them my account is affected?

Thanks,

Aby.

Hi,

Interesting that it affected you before the upgrade to 12.8. Quite possible that someone inside Apple has assumed a connection to 12.8 due to the timing of this issue. I managed a screen sharing session in which I was able to demonstrate opening a slightly older backup to my library which showed my cloud content for a few second before it updated to the new downloaded only view. So far the only advice was to download anything that I want to watch from purchase history, although I use an Apple TV so that isn't really a problem. I don't have a specific reference you can use, but if you're talking to them again you could send a link to this thread so they can see that others are affected.
