How do you find your old iTunes songs from six or seven years ago? I had over 1000 songs in my iTunes but I stopped using them. I’d like to start listening to that music again and I cannot find it in the library on my iPhone .
If they are iTunes purchased songs and if they are still in the store and if you haven't moved countries since buying them, see if they show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes Store app on the phone for redownloading : Redownload apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books from the iTunes Store, iBooks Store, and App Store - Apple Support
Otherwise sync them to your phone from your computer's iTunes library, if you don't have them on the computer copy them onto it from your backup of your library
