Everything is slowed down, photos wont work. itunes ect... Ever since this update...

Since I updated to Sierra I frequently get a popup that says "Server connections interrupted" Drobo

FWIW. I don't use a Drobo NAS, but have one from Synology that is connected by Ethernet to my network. In my case, my 2014 Mac mini, is not having any issues with network connectivity to this device even with the mini upgraded to 10.13.6. Might this be a firmware issue with the Drobos?

Did you assign a static local IP address for your Drobo? Which file sharing protocol (AFP or SMB) are you connecting your Mac to the Drobo with? If the latter, which exact version of SMB (1, 2, or 3)? What type of latency times are you getting if your ping the Drobo from your Mac?

I am having the same issue. I just installed newest release of High Sierra thinking all the bugs would be worked out by now. Ever since my computer is sluggish and slow. The main issue is I get the "Drobo Server Connected Interrupted" and things like iTunes, photos etc freeze because I used the Drobo to write all my documents and media to. I have searched everywhere and cannot figure out how to fix this. Keep in mind I am a user and not an IT person so all the threads that are very high tech I cannot follow. I am a savvy user but not an IT user 🙂 Someone please help!
