Dictation Sound At Full Volume - How To Adjust?

I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 11.4.1. After the latest update, my dictation sound has been playing at full volume even when I turn down the system and alert volume and have the phone muted. Is there a way to fix this?

Hello, Kort.

It's my understanding that you want to adjust the volume of dictation. I can help you with this. Dictation has a separate volume control and to adjust it, turn on dictation and then use the side buttons for volume to adjust the level. Then end the dictation. You can use the beeps to hear how loud the dictation will be when you end it.
