How to stop Apple CarPlay from disconnecting after someone plugs their phone into another USB Port?

Heys guys, about 3 weeks ago, I got a 2018 Honda Civic EX with Apple CarPlay in it. Everything is fine with how it runs and all. It’s just when I have my phone plugged into my car playing music, after a friend plugs in their phone in a different USB Port to charge it, it disconnects my phone and shows “No Device Connected”. I have a iPhone 7 Plus. Thank you!

Apple CarPlay Connection I recently purchased a car with Apple CarPlay. It always connects via the USB cord with any phone the first time, but if the first connection is unplugged, it won't connect again during that trip. I've tried restarting the car, restarting the phone, restarting CarPlay, connecting the same phone, connecting a different phone, using a phone with different IOS versions, using a different cord (yes, it's an Apple one), and nothing seems to work. So if I'm out running errands, and I unplug my phone at the first stop, I can't connect again that trip. If my daughter connects her phone, and I drop her off, I can't use mine. If I go to use the car later in the day or the next day, it will work again...the first time only. Am I missing something here? Is there a setting I need to change?

Apple Carplay So I just bought a new car and I have been trying to set up apple carplay. I had someone try the anddoid auto and it worked right away but for some reason when i plug in my cord, it says that i need to plug in a usb. When Iplug it in, it charges my phone and plays music, but won’t connect to my car through usb in order to connect and my car won’t even pop up on my phone. I know it doesn’t have anything to do with the actual usb port in my car because android auto worked

Connecting carplay Hello. So, a couple weeks ago I upgraded my iphone from the 11 to the 13. Since I’ve had the 13 it will not connect to my carplay. I use a cord and when while it is connected, my car does not even show up to connect. While my boyfriend’s phone (he has the 13 pro max), does connect. I tried to ensure the carplay was turned on but it still does not connect. I need some help!
