How can I add a device to my Apple ID account

I tried to add an iPhone 8 device to my current Apple ID account using an iPad Air. I was able to change the Security password and deleted the previous Trusted Phone Number and added a new phone number only. What should I do next?

All you need to do now is log in to your Apple ID on your iPhone 8 by going to Settings > Apple ID, iCloud, iTunes & App Store and log in from there.
