My macbook pro 10.13.4 gives me a low battery warning at 5%. My former AIR gave me a warning at a higher percentage. How can I make an adjustment on the MBPro to get the warning at a higher percentage?

Is your battery icon showing in the upper right menu bar?
If you hold the option key and click the icon, what is the condition of your battery?
Different OS, seem to change the % before the warning.
You can search the App Store for third party apps that allow you to set your own warning %
