Iphone Backup Location (Windows 10)

How do I make only the external hard drive place for my iphone back up? I have a small ssd hard drive, so I want to make the external hard drive for my iphone back up. I followed the steps from the online and it worked (mklink /J "%APPDATA%\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup" ). My issue comes in when I start the backup through the iTunes. it backs up on my C: drive and my external hard drive at the same time, which I don't want. I want it on external hard drive only, how do I do that? Thank you very much in advance.

The method is given in the Relocate iOS device backups section of Make a split library portable. 😉

As noted the data appears to be in both locations, fooling iTunes, but only takes up space on the target drive.

I figured it out, on the C: folder it only showing shortcut version. It's not taking any space.
