my downloads are showing in alphabetical order instead of recent downloaded, how do I switch it back?

Today I've accidentally deleted my "Downloads" folder from my Dock on my Macbook and, after searching it up in Finder trying to put it back in, it started to show in the alphabetical order instead of a normal "recently downloaded" one.

How do I return it back to an original state? I've already customised it in the pop-up menu (cmd+J) but it didn't do anything when I drag and dropped it back in the Dock. Please help.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

Control click on the folder in the Dock—sort by date
