How to install OpenAFS on High-Sierra

I downloaded Stanford's AuriStorFS replacement for OpenAFS on macOS 10.13 High Sierra.

I ran into several problems, which I eventually solved.

You may encounter these yourself using any version of OpenAFS.

1) You must open and install the SSRT.pkg first.

2) You must double-click (open) the dmg to get its volume opened.

3) You then must run both of the Terminal-scripts in the Extra folder.

4) You must launch System Preferences and then open Security & Privacy.

5) You must 'unlock' the pane in the General tab.

6) Lastly, you must launch the 'StanfordAFS-HS.pkg' from the open volume.

During the installation, the System Preferences frame is reference by

the executing code, and you must click the 'Allow' button in the

General pane. When the installation completes, close all open windows

EXCEPT for Installation Complete. You then must click 'Restart' in

that final window. After the Restart, you'll know it's right if you see an

'afs' icon show up on your Desktop (upper right). Good luck.
