Tweakbox legit?

My son told us about Moviebox which can be downloaded from Tweakbox. Thinking that watching 1st-run free movies is too good to be true, I read a few articles about Tweakbox, and that it's okay for non-jailbreakable devices (if I understood this correctly. Does anyone know if either Moviebox or Tweakbox are legit/legal? Shady, maybe? Again, it sounds too good to be true, and I'd like to know if anyone else knows about these services.

Thanks

If you will read the terms:

they are simply providing a means to allow you to download things which were uploaded by others. This involves copyright issues which makes it questionable: if the person uploaded it with the knowledge that it would be used or downloaded by others, that is one thing. If they uploaded it to show to friends, then it'd be a copyright violation.

I'd back away from that site because most that offer things for free which cost money elsewhere will/may also include things added into the download you would not necessarily want such as adware, etc.
