Migration Assistant Not Working

Hi, I just received a replacement MacBook Pro and have been trying to switch everything I need over with Migration Assistant.

OLD MacBook Pro 13" - 2011(?)

NEW MacBoo Pro 15" - 2017

They are both on the same wi-fi, both are running High Sierra v10.13.6, and are next to each other. After I begin the Migration, both computers just continue searching for each other, but never seem to find each other.

Does anyone have any ideas of what else I can do besides purchasing a cord for manually copying everything?
