2012 macbook pro 2.9 ghz i7 heating issue
I think I may have a heating issue with my 2012 MacBook Pro i7 2.9 ghz....I have noticed that regular internet use runs the chip at 42-51C with CPU proximity are few degrees below...at the typing of this post the 43C CPU and Proximity CPU is 35C.
To maintain those above speeds, I have SMC fan control set to 2900-3000 RPMs. If I go with stock config on the fan speed, the temps raise to 45 to 50C with Safari and basic usage.
I have once cleaned and replaced the thermal paste, but I will change the past to Arctic MX4.
Have or do any of you have any experience with this MacBook Pro 2.9 i7?
*according to Apple, the temps should be in normal operations, 10C to 35C.
