Suddenly the Pages icon on my Mac has changed. I am using Pages version 7.1. How do I change back to the icon with a orange header with the word Pages and pen across the page?

On the Dock
Open Applications and look for the App Store application. Select it's icon and drag it down into the Dock. Release it. It should now be back in the Dock.
This will replace the strange one that is there? The app works. I have just never seen this strange icon before.
Yes, that will work. Select the strange icon in your dock and just drag it upwards until it disappears. Glad this helps you.

We still have no idea what this "strange" icon looks like.
Can you give us a hint, or at least tell us how many guesses do we get?

It sounds like another App.
That looks like the AppleWorks document icon.
What do you mean "Same article, but different photo, and nofooter information? These are icons for the Pages app. One is correct the other is not. I am trying to install the correct icon.
