This forum is not fully compatible with iOS Safari

This very Apple’s forum (Apple Support Communities) is not fully compatible with iOS‘s Safari.

It is so hard to use this it, like it was made strictly for desktop using and not for iOS devices as well.

For example:

When you start new discussion and typing text in Comments window, the typing behavior is out of this world!

It so infuriating!

Autocorrection is glitching or not working in a half of the moments. Backspacing is erasing sometimes two spaces instead of one. Backspacing does not erasing words after a few seconds, just continues erasing letter by letter but slowly. New sentence sometimes does not capitalize first letter. Sometimes you can’t place cursor into a wanted place. And so on, and so on.

A bunch of weird behavior of typing!

Or...

Trying to crop profile photo is complete nightmare. It is not cropping, it’s squeezing it!

Why Apple’s own forum is not compatible with Apple‘s own iOS devices? Is this a joke?

Sometimes Apple completely don’t give a heck about things.

You get credit for doing a lot of keyboarding on an iPad 🙂

I can't do it simply because of ten fat fingers. I did search a bit and there are some sites like this

FWIW, I usually use Brave on my iPad and on my iPhone.

It's actually pretty easy.

A user's full size avatar is the one you see such as at the top of this topic. That is an 80 x 80 pixel space.

This is easiest to do with a good image editor that can edit in layers, such as Photoshop, GIMP, Affinity Photo and others.

1. Create an 80 x 80 pixel blank.

2. Draw a perfect circle on a new layer that is centered and butts the edge of the canvas. Give it a one pixel stroke so you know where it is without being a selection.

3. On another new layer below the circle, drop in your image and size it to fit as you want it to look in that circle.

4. Turn the circle layer off (or discard it) and save a flattened JPEG of your avatar image. For web viewing, preferably saved in the sRGB color space.

5. Upload the JPEG to your forum account and select it. Since it's the same size the forum software uses as your full size image, it will automatically land right in the center of the round gray outline used to frame your avatar.
