Shuffle won't turn off, iPhone App 8/2018

All I want to do is play an "album" from song 1 to song 10 but can't get it to stop shuffling! iOS up to date 8/2018. yes, I've rebooted my phone. Any other suggestions? On the app you realize the options for changing things are few-to-none. Should I delete the App and reinstall?
