iPhone no longer showing under personal hotspot on iPad

So I recently just updated both my iPad and iPhone to 11.4.x and I’ve noticed since updating, my iPhone no longer shows up as personal hotspot on my iPad. Prior my iPhone would always show up under there by default because it knew it was my phone because they both share the same Apple ID but now it doesn’t. It just shows up in the WiFi along with all other networks. I’m not sure why this is happening but I find it extremely annoying when I can’t automatically connect to my phone by just clicking on it (even when personal hotspot is turned off on my phone).

Has anyone else been experience similiar a issue and if so, is there any fix to it? Not that big of a deal but it was definitely noticed and is becoming pretty tedious. Any feedback would help! 🤔😊
