How do i transfer photos from My Photo Stream on my I Phone 4S to my Mac?

I exhausted the number of photos I could take on my IPhone--there are 774 photos on my camera roll. There are 257 recent photos on My Photo Stream. I am trying to transfer those 257 to Photos on my Mac that runs on OS X Yosemite. A small number of the photos successfully transferred. The others are only visible on my IPhone.

I also have been unable to delete any photos from my IPhone, or to add the photos in My Photo Stream to other albums on my IPhone. I am unable to take any new photos.

Any suggestions would be welcome.
