Is this community nothing but endless bugs??

Is there anything about this so called 'community' website that is not broken??

Every time I try to create a question here I am continuously lambasted by ignorant error messages telling me that content could not be saved, and to please try again in a few minutes.

What a complete joke, and this is supposedly run by Apple right?? Aren't they supposed to be computer and web savvy??

So why can't they even run a forum site without relentless errors??

I agree with you. Over time, you will learn to avoid most of the issues.

Many members agree with your assessment. Try some of these tweaks.

How to improve your experience with Apple Support Communities ( ASC )

To find you way around the communities, I use Turingtest2's "Site map of Communities and Categories"

Site map of Communities and Categories

This actually works for navigating around the ASC site. [ cannot say that about Apple's version. ] See the first for link at the top of the document for how to find your stuff.

Fix the user experience.

Minimal CSS tweaks for ASC

Adjust the format and layout of ASC Web Pages I use Waterfox a Firefox clone.

As has already been stated here, this forum software does indeed have a number of bugs. We report them to the hosts. They pass it on to Engineering, something gets fixed or doesn’t get fixed. Something else crops up. We report it... rinse and repeat.

FWIW, I have had the red banner appear that you show in your screenshot, twice already today and it wasn’t because I was trying to post again too quickly. It is a relatively common bug. One of my favorites is that I will be logged out in two current ASC tabs, while still logged in in two other current ASC tabs.

That seems to go hand in hand with the sign in bug where I tap on or click on Sign in, only to be brought back to the sign in screen. I tap or click on Sign in, only to be brought back to the sign in screen. I had a half dozen go arounds with that bug before I finally gave in, closed Safari and started all over again.

Just sayin’ you are not alone.

I think CCC figured out that sort of link. I remember CCC and me having a discussion about this. It doesn't go to the lounge for me. I get the login page with my id filled in. After pressing return twice, I get the welcome page which I quickly close, because of the forced log off issue. It was supposed to be fixed for some, but not for me when I last left the login page around. So, I'm taking the superstitious approach by exiting out of the Welcome screen, ASAP.

I think posting the complete link is Ok, but it looks worrisome. It puts up my ASC id.
