I just purchased a 2017 MacBook Pro and am looking for software or hardware to burn DVD's that will play on PC & Mac as well as a DVD Player. I am also interested in Video Editing software. Any suggestions?
Did your machine come with iMovie? Look in the app store for iMovie. It's free. Many youtubers use iMovie to make their movies.

Yes it will be on the new laptop. I make instructional videos that are sold on DVDs. I need that DVD to play on computers as well as DVD players. I believe that means in MPEG-2 format. I'm not sure iMovie will do that.
