I bought a Imac year built late 2009 version 10.11 OS X Capitan. I follow instruction how to eraser and restore after, I follow thought step by step until where it ask to sign in my apple ID, and it have error msg pop up( this Item not available as this time) anybody can help what it meant and how can I passby it or any other way I can make my computer work again.
Have you ever downloaded El Capitan using your Apple ID? Do you have the disks that came with the computer? If so, boot off of them and install an OS to get a working computer.
If you have access to another Mac, sign into the App Store using your Apple ID and download El Capitan using the link below. Quit the installer. You can make a bootable USB stick to install using these free programs which will do all the work for you. Boot from that and install the OS.
