Macbook pro slow even after RAM upgrade

Hi,


I recently upgraded my mid-2012 Mac book pro from 4 GB RAM to 8 GB RAM because it was very slow. Even after the upgrade MacBook pro continues to be slow. I ran Etrecheck and the report is below. Any suggestions on what can be done to improve performance ?

Aside from the unnecessary stuff you have installed, your MBP has the default slow 5400 rpm hard drive (33+% slower than a spinning 7200 rpm drive in 27" iMacs). I have the very same model you do with upgraded 12 GB RAM and an SSD - it is quite fast and snappy.
